Annual Fund

As a nonprofit organization, the Kennebunkport Historical Society relies entirely on the generosity of individuals, foundations and corporate support  to underwrite the costs of our education programs and the stewardship of our collections and properties.  There are several ways you can help support the Society.

Each year, members and friends of the Kennebunkport Historical Society contribute to our Annual Fund. These donations allow us to increase our educational programming, care for our collections and maintain our historic, National Register buildings. Contributions also enable us to offer special exhibitions, programs and events.

The Annual Fund underwrites a considerable percentage of the Society’s day-to-day general operating expenses, though donations may also be designated to a specific historic property or program.
