The Kennebunkport Historical Society hosts several exciting events throughout the year that are open to members and non-members alike. There are a wide-range of activities, places to visit, and lectures to participate in. This page changes regularly, so please check back often to see if dates or times have changed or if new events have been added and contact the Society to confirm details. In order to help you to navigate through all that is on offer, this page has been divided into three main sections:

• Guided Nott House Tours

  Thursday: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

  10% discount to members on all purchases at the Port of Call Gift Shop.
  
  Admission is by donation.
  

• Historic Village Walking Tours
  Guided Walking Tour of the historic area leaves from the Nott House (8 Maine Street)
  Beginning on July 8 at 11 am
  Thursdays and Saturdays: July 8 through August 27
  Saturdays only: September 2 - October 9
  
  Tickets are $7 for adults. Admission is free to members and children under 18.
  

• Self-Guided Walking Tours at your convenience.
  "Strolling Through the Port" guide books may be purchased at the Port of Call Gift Shop (8 Maine Street) and the Pasco Exhibit Center (125 North Street).

• Pasco Exhibit Center

  Saturday, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm (June 5 - August 28)
  
  Exhibit:“ Abbott Graves: A Fresh Look at the Artist” - Artwork and memorabilia from Kennebunkport's best known artist. Admission is by donation.
  
  

Benson Blacksmith Shop  
125 North Street, Kennebunkport
Forge open 12 pm to 4 pm on Wednesdays from mid-June through September for demonstration and activities.

• Town House School
  135 North Street, Kennebunkport
  Historical and genealogical research opportunities and assistance, Wednesday and Friday, 10 am to 1 pm, and by appointment.
  

• Jail Cells and Clark Ship Yard Office
  135 North Street, Kennebunkport
  Open Wednesday and Friday, 10 am to 1 pm and by appointment

• The Second-Ever Unbelievable KHS Raffle

• Grand Opening of "Abbott Graves: A Fresh Look at the Artist",
  Friday, June 4 at the Pasco Exhibit Center, 125 North Street. Time TBA.
  

• Volunteer "Green Thumbs" Meeting
  Monday, June 7, 9 to 11 am, at the Nott House, 8 Maine Street.
  

• Volunteer Orientation Meeting.
  Tuesday, June 8, 10 am at the Nott House, 8 Maine Street. Come sign up to help the Society this summer. Docents, tour guides, and gift shop staff are welcome. Bring a friend who wants to volunteer! • Grand Opening of the Nott House
  Thursday, July 1, members free. Join us and see for yourself the beautiful "new-old" wallpaper in the Library.
  

• 10th Annual Golf Tournament and Barbecue
  Friday, September 17, at the Cape Arundel Golf Club. Time TBA.
  $110 per person in advance, $125 day of tourney. Includes greens fee, cart, prizes, and refreshments.

• Annual Meeting
  October. Time and date TBA.

• Christmas Prelude at the Nott House
  8 Maine Street, Kennebunkport
  - Champagne Reception, Thursday, December 2, 5 - 7 pm, Price TBA
  - Tours of the Nott House, Friday, December 3, 1 - 4 pm,
  Saturdays, December 4 & 11, 10 am - 4 pm
  Tickets are $7 per person; members and children under 18 free.

• Prelude Champagne Reception
  Thursday, December 2, 5 to 7 pm, at the 1853 Nott House, 8 Maine Street.
  Price TBA. Come see the Nott House decorated for the season. Includes hors d'oeuvres, champagne and an abundance of holiday spirit!
  

• Christmas Prelude Walking Tours
  All tours leave from the Nott House, 8 Maine Street, Kennebunkport
  Friday, December 3 at 2 pm
  Saturday, December 4 at 11 am and 2 pm

  Tickets are $7 per person
